We where recently asked by local Tamworth based company Shire Leasing to photograph their New corporate id launch at the Moat House in Tamworth. The new logo and ID was revealed to around 150 staff members by company joint chairman Martin Smith. Afterwards a BBQ was served in the gardens followed by a ABBA/Katy Perry tribute act that went down really well with staff members. We are looking forward to photographing their Christmas Party at Moor Hall later in the year.
One of our clients recently asked us to photograph a new roofing product they are planning to release later this year. The only problem was they only had the white version of the product but needed it with a wood effect as well. The only solution was for them to supply us with a flat sheet of wood effect material which we photographed and retouched onto the white version of the the product.
We have recently been photographing a range of spirits for a national supermarket chain. The products will be used for on-line advertising and on posters within the stores.
On Tuesday I received a call at 11.00am from ALDI Head Office. They had just been awarded the Grocer of the Year award for 2017 and urgently required the trophy photographing at their head office in Atherstone. The photograph then needing retouching and returning to their marketing team by 12 noon in order to send to London and meet an urgent deadline for an advertisement they had booked. We managed to get it photographed/retouched and back to them with 5 minutes to spare.

I have photographed just about every kind of product now, even Manhole Covers. I thought it was a late April Fools windup when a client phoned me up and asked if I could photograph a new product they are making which just happened to be two plastic Manhole Covers. I was relieved that they where plastic rather than the Cast Iron type. Well at least my back was!
Last week was spent working on product photography for a roofing manufacturer. In total I shot around 150 different bits and pieces, all of which needed retouching and clipping paths adding. The problem with shooting plastic is that no matter how much you dust it down beforehand, you always get dust appear on the final photograph. All of the shots are going to be used in a price list.
