To photograph students in a working school environment .

Candid shots of students taken during lessons.
Students enjoying recreational time.
Pupils liaising with staff.
Portraits of head teachers.

How the day went…
Because of the three and a half hour journey time from Tamworth, I decided to stay in a Hotel near Clacton on Sea the night before.

The next morning I had a very large full English breakfast which set me up for the busy day ahead.

I arrived at the first college at 9.00am where I had a meeting with the college management team. We went over the school photography schedule for the day and by 9.45 am we had started.

By 12.30pm I had photographed all of the various departments and moved on to the second school 7 miles away.

By 3pm I had photographed everything and finally started my 4 hour journey back to Tamworth.
