Photography for a new Chanel Coco Mademoiselle advertising campaign.

Being a Freelance Photographer I get to visit many locations across the UK.

This week I found myself visiting Birmingham City Centre photographing an advertising campaign for Chanel, Coco Mademoiselle.

My client BlowUp Media had a huge advertising poster situated outside the Birmingham Mailbox that needed photographing.

My brief was to photograph the poster both in the daylight, and then again in the evening when it is lit by spotlights.

The day time shots went well, but come dusk the spotlights failed to come on.

The only way around this was to over-expose a shot and then superimpose it onto a correctly exposed shot. Spotlights and the lighting was added in post production.
