Pebble painting day for KOMPAN new play area in Atherstone

I was recently asked to photograph a PR event for Atherstone Town Council.

They have recently had a playground revamped by a company called KOMPAN. One of the main paths leading into the playground is going to be sensory path.

The path is going to be bordered by pebbles, which will be hand painted by local children. The pebbles will then be coated in varnish and set into the concrete on the path edges.

Local children were asked to attend on a sunny Thursday morning, here a table with blank pebbles and paint sticks were provided.

Over 50 children turned up, each painting a beautiful designs on their pebble.
